Britney Spears invoked the ire of fans to walk out on her concert in Australia, because the pop star was lip-synching. The Aussie fans demanded their money back, and left Britney standing on stage in bewilderment. From Ashlee Simpson to Milli Vanilli to Pavarotti, artists have continuously been caught faking it while on stage. Is anyone surprised, I know I'm not, because fans don't realize the toll this takes on artists, to perform at a very high level night after night, traveling from venue to venue, not eating right, or getting enough rest. I'm not making excuses for anyone, because if an artist is able to perform, then they should do so considering that fans are paying insane prices for tickets.
