EVENT: CASTING 3 MALES/ 1 FEMALE for feature "His Wrong Girl"
LOCATION: Miami

The bosses' sons' fiance, Mia has run away to her home town in Mexico and he wants her back. Dante and Jerry owe the cartel money and in order to wipe their debt clean, they have to bring her back. When they find Mia they get caught in the middle of her own personal agenda, making them the most wanted foreign outlaws in Mexico.

Apply to: Amir Moosa via www.Mandy.com at http://www.mandy.com/1/cast3.cfm?v=37899211

4 breakdowns:
1. Male / 25-30 yrs. / Caucasian.
Jerry is the lead role. His must help his friend out of the mess he's in, but is more then happy to do it for him. Jerry is a quick kind of guy and knows what to say at the worst times. For inspirations on the role it's best to watch Christian Slater in True Romance. In no way are we asking for a carbon copy of a particular acting style, it's just a guide. From experience it works well.

2. Male / 25-30 yrs. / African American.
He's the comic relief in the film, but is intelligent and political at the same time. At times he could just about do the dumbest things, but he knows when not to play around.

3. Female / 25-30 yrs. / Hispanic.
She has all the smarts and is a strong intelligent women. She is far from a prissy girl but still knows how to catch a guys attention. She is the bosses' sons' fiance and decides to leave the family due to career differences (you'll know more about the story, don't worry). Also, you must be able to perform with a slight Spanish accent. For some sort of inspiration to this role it would be great if you took a look a two films: one called 'The Killing', for a character that goes by the name of Sherry about 11 minutes into the film; and also, Mia Wallace from 'Pulp Fiction'. In no way are we asking for a carbon copy of a particular acting style, it's just a guide. From experience it works well.

4. Male / 31-40 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
Eddie is a supporting character. He is a crime boss that runs the Cartel in Los Angeles. We would preferably want a New York accent but not mandatory. He's not afraid to speak his mind but is a calm and forgiving individual.

EVENT: CASTING CALL: 2 MALES for film scene
LOCATION: Ft. Lauderdale

This is a class project that we are shooting for are craft & business class. We are taking a scene from the 1982 film Blade Runner Ridley Scott. This is not a paying gig but you will receive credit

Character Breakdowns:
Leon: Male; any race; Age 30 - 55, Big Man looks like an over-stuffed kid.

Leon Kowalski is a friend of Roy Batty. His emotions are at a much lower level of development than Roy’s, but he evidently believes in Roy’s quest for more life. He has an A physical level, which enables him to have super-human strength and endurance (according to the Final cut he was used as a 180 kg/400 lb nuclear-head loader in the outer space colonies as well as a front-line soldier). Leon is classified mental level C. He doesn’t have the speed of thought that Roy does when it comes to solving problems. As a result, he often resorts to simple violence. Leon shoots Blade Runner Holden as he administers the Voight-Kampff test. Leon beats Deckard after he witnesses Deckard kill Zhora, but just as he is about to kill Deckard, Rachael shoots and kills him.

Holden:
Male; any race; Age 30 - 45
lean, hollow checked.

Holden is the Blade Runner testing new employees at the Tyrell Corporation on the premise that the escaped Replicants might try to infiltrate the company. He underestimates the Nexus 6 Replicants. It seems that the new replicants are difficult to detect even with the Voight-Kampff machine.
Holden is shot and left for dead while trying to give the Voight-Kampff test to Leon, one of the Nexus 6 Replicants on the run. Later, Bryant mentions that Holden is alive but even his breathing is assisted by machines.

EVENT: SEEKING EDITOR for short film
LOCATION: Ft. Lauderdale

I am looking for an editor to do a final cut of a short film I have directed, produced and self financed. The rough cut is complete. If you know color correction, that is a big plus but is not necessary. Currently, the film is approximately 37 minutes long, but I imagine it'll be closer to 30 when it's tightened up. There will be pay but as I mentioned, this film is self financed so I don't have the biggest budget. The film is for the festival circuit. Post has been a nightmare and I really need to complete the film. The name of it is, "Reporting for Duty" and it is an a-political film about what a military family goes through as a soldier prepares to return to war. The DP is a 5 time Latin Emmy winner and we had an all-professional cast who volunteered their time. To see production stills, please visit our webpage. Please have a demo reel available online or on a dvd.
