Jamiroquai Singer Jay Kay Goes In On Lady Gaga and Music Industry
Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay quit the music industry because stars were manipulated by record labels. The singer said he found being a pop star “unfulfilling” by the time he left music behind in 2006, and said his group can’t be compared to stars like Lady Gaga, who he sees as a “money making freak”.
I think a lot of the angst that musicians and artists show towards the business, would not be if they only would learn the business before they sign these contracts weighted in the record distributors favor.
